Investigating the true state of software platforms
Platform Intelligence helps organisations understand the real condition of complex technology platforms.
About Platform Intelligence
Platform Intelligence was created to help organisations understand the real condition of their technology platforms. Modern software systems often grow rapidly over time, accumulating technical debt, hidden architectural risks, and security vulnerabilities that are difficult to detect without deep technical investigation.
Platform Intelligence combines AI-assisted architecture analysis with senior engineering expertise to uncover these risks and provide organisations with a clear understanding of the health, scalability and maintainability of their systems.
Our Philosophy
Good architecture exists to allow engineering teams to deliver business value quickly, safely and reliably.
Many organisations struggle with systems that have grown fragile over time. Hidden complexity, outdated dependencies and architectural coupling can slow development and increase operational risk.
Platform Intelligence helps organisations uncover these issues through structured investigation, combining AI-powered code analysis with deep engineering experience to provide clear, actionable insights into the health of their technology platforms.
About the Founder
Platform Intelligence is led by Nathan Clarence, an engineering and architecture leader with more than three decades of experience designing, building and modernising complex software systems.
Throughout his career Nathan has worked across a wide range of technology environments, helping organisations deliver large-scale web platforms, stabilise fragile systems, and guide engineering teams through architectural transformation.
He has led engineering teams, designed platform architectures, and helped organisations address complex technical challenges including technical debt, legacy system modernisation, and platform scalability.
